This item is a must-have in the hands of almost every party member. One glove per hand will cost you (list price) 10,000 gold… not bad for a higher level character.
When you wear the Glove of Storing, it blends into your hand 90%, so it is barely visible. Well, what can we hide in it…? Great question. I like to have a couple of things to choose from, so if I have enough money I get two, one for each hand… if only I had a third hand (now that's another story)! So, anything that can be held in one hand, you can store in this glove, just as long as it's not more than 20 pounds. Cool? I thought you’d like that... but no two-handed weapons - if you hear that word "two-handed", that’s a no no. Depending on your class, you will find different things better for you to store in the glove. The best thing about this glove is that it doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity when you call out an object. In fact, it's not even a move action; it’s a free action. So with a snap of your fingers, you could have a Heal Potion (one of my favorites), or your weapon just waiting to be unleashed. So forget about taking the Quick Draw feat, and Snap… “Wait, how did a mouse get in there?” Kender - “Why take a feat when you can spend someone else's money to buy a Magic Item that does the same thing?” Notes from The Wizard I think The Kender may be using a v3.0 DMG. I don't have access to the version The Kender uses, in which it might very well state that the glove is 90% blended into the hand. My v3.5 DMG doesn't actually mention that the glove is hidden in any way, only the item stored within. Since I'd imagine most people are playing by v3.5 rules by now, though, it's a good idea to have the more recent rules outlined here. | |
